Mills Landing is a private oceanfront resort on the southern edge of Barkley Sound, in the town of Bamfield, on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Our resort is in one of the most productive marine environments in the world, and has five solid months of world-class offshore salmon and halibut fishing. Our one and two bedroom cottages have full kitchens with everything you need for cooking, 4-piece baths, leather chairs, pullout sofas, linens and towels, fireplace in the living room and a BBQ on the deck with unobstructed ocean views. If needed, our staff can help with food preparation and any special requests.  You can also enjoy the resort’s fire-pit, horseshoe pit, and the oceanside picnic area on the lawn of the resort.
We offer professionally guided fishing charters off the west coast of Vancouver Island for Halibut up to 100 lbs, feisty Coho and Chinook that reach well over 30lbs by June. Lingcod, Rockfish, crabs and prawns are within easy reach of our charter boats as well. We also offer inshore charters from July to September around the Broken Group Islands, as well as in and around Barkley Sound, if the salmon are migrating closer to our resort. These areas hold plenty of big fish, and offers incredible scenery for miles around. A commercial vacuum sealer is available for use onsite as well freezers. We have our own saltwater ice plant at the resort for those guests who do not wish to freeze their catch.
